Patients with rheumatoid arthritis increased their leg muscle volume when treated with an anti-rheumatic drug, offering new hope for improved muscle health. Research has shown that 15 patients given Tofacitinib as part of a 6 month experimental medical study found their leg muscles increased in size, particularly in the thigh.
