The prospect that all those bombers we’re somehow being deployed “defensively” by the aggressor in this war is doing my head in.
Especially when 🇺🇸 commander in chief, Trump, announces an intention to commit war crimes, and, indeed, appears to do so.

Add it to the list of things not debated within the party (abolishing the Treasury, War Bonds, developing our own nuclear missiles...).
This one is to be paid for with extra income the Government won't get after cutting fuel duty?
I doubt it. 'Right here right now' was a song of hope....
The bases should never have been opened to US use. They should now immediately be closed to them. This is patently the case. It is a military power with explicitly genocidal intent. Given how severe that danger is, the reassurances of its military officials about authorised use are insufficient.
Streeting today still saying it's for the US to justify war crimes....
Asked if the US would be committing a war crime if it carries out threat, he continued: "It's not my judgement to make, but it's for the US to justify its actions. The British government, the Prime Minister, has been clear that we would not get involved in this war in Iran.
Wes Streeting, on behalf of our Government, once again giving it the "it's for the US to justify its actions" treatment.
There is no justification for war crimes, full stop. Our Government needs to grow a backbone and call it out.
Very much NOT the big issue of the day, but I get irrationally annoyed by Trump's failure to understand the meaning of the word "decimated".
You can't "decimate" *every* bridge 🤦♂️
Whereas Christian festivals are all based on proven historic facts.
I think we should all be allowed to make up festivals if we want an excuse to eat chocolate.
Costa Calderdale heatwave.....
I fairly sure it's only within the Lib Dems would you find past General Election strategy compared to a US SciFi plot line 😂
I’ll tell you what’s not to like:
Being reliant on increasingly volatile oil and gas markets
Pollution destroying our planet and health
Not preparing meaningfully for the time when these resources run out, leaving us vulnerable
PS Renewables provide jobs and growth too.

This is just extending the "undeserving poor" narrative that the Tories were so fond of. You can't impoverish people into good health, and you shouldn't punish thousands of unwell people just in case there are a few scroungers out there needing a kick up the arse.
Once again, Labour's message is "Reform are right about everything, but you mustn't vote for them."
Does this 'double tap' strike on civilian infrastructure count as a 'defensive' operation?
Firstly - f**k Trump.
Secondly - this translates to "Trump threatened to stop *selling* weapons to Europe, for supply to Ukraine". The US stopped providing aid a year ago.
This feels like 'cakeism' from Starmer - the idea that we can get back most of the benefits of EU membership while still maintaining the red lines of no rejoin, no single market, no customs union. Sod the manifesto - do the right thing.

The more abuse and complaints that Trump fires towards the UK and Europe the happier I am with our stance. Sooner or later he won't be in a position to create his chaos.
Please read this, understand what the govt is doing & take action. Labour's immigration proposals swap integration for segregation, introduce a Dubai-style Kafala system of coercive employer control & drive low-income families into poverty. They're an abomination.

There's got to be a movie or miniseries in this story, surely?
Of course it's overlooked. It's underneath.
Meta spent years A/B testing the exact UI patterns two juries just called illegal. The harm wasn't a side effect. It was the retention strategy.
who could have predicted this.
Has the Royal Navy somehow decided:
a) It has too many ships.
b) Our waters and undersea infrastructure are too safe?
You've been 100% successful in dehumanising your opponents if you're willing to treat young children like this.
Reposting this. Imagine investing £22bn to *reduce* our dependence on fossil fuels, rather than extend it?

Definitely Severance before your Apple TV free trial runs out.
Then Down Cemetery Road and Pluribus if time allows.
