kali makes a low grunting noise as she looks away, quietly looking anywhere else in the med bay.

it takes another moment before she finally says in the softest of voices; "of course i worry."

"do not be sorry." she says with a quick shake of her head. "i only wish i could do more.."

"you should be more careful." she murmurs, frowning as she meets their gaze. "what if it had been worse?"

she does not see why she needs to be screaming nor running around.

once the question of a concussion is out of the picture, she finally seems to relax; sitting down quietly by their side.

"don't mention it." she says, idling nearby and watching like a hawk.

she enters the med bay not long after that, basically assigning ripley to the closest person.

she's not talking at all, just frowning and moving.

she feels a strange sense of guilt, finding she wishes she could help her.

"i think you being here /does/ mean something. just hold out until then. you will be able to ask all your questions soon."
