Traditionally, my people make and gift a blanket to a new married couple. The modern vision of that is a quilt. We have a rich history of quilting for that reason.

Working on a playbook for my game about elevating cultural art/craft/game/profession into magic and thinking about how magic quilts became an inevitable part of Southern folklore and not just folkways and how that's important for me to represent.
