We really need someone, anyone, in the MSM to call out this stupid comparison between the budgets of households and monetary sovereigns. It's dangerously misleading and It misinforms voters. It supports decisions that harm us all. #nzpol

We had a Climate Emergency Response fund set aside to deal with these emergencies- but killed by willis to pay for landlord tax cuts.
It was fed by income from a strengthened ETS which was driving down emissions. That’s pretty much been killed off too.
But am not hearing any solutions from Labour

Country Life: Why Canterbury's crop farmers are leaving the industry High costs, low returns, bad weather: why Canterbury's crop farmers are leaving the industry.

So the changing climate is ruining the crops - and therefore incomes - of Canterbury arable farmers, who are now eyeing dairy as an alternative, which will have a much bigger impact on the climate…

Yeah so if Fonterra’s now focussing on producing more milk powder that means more energy needed to dry it…

super cheap never means ethically-made, because you have to pay workers more and the fabric costs more to make.

Why is everyone calling for him to go? I hope he just scrapes through, with dissatisfied mutterings all the way to the election.
A refreshed National might rise again in the polls.
