16 March's #EyedentityGame (I do this as a daily game). I can't do the kind of robust tracking I normally do for who gets it in 2 places, & this 1 has been answered there, but feel free to guess & discuss! I plan to reveal the answer tomorrow
15 March's #EyedentityGame was Oliver Hardy!
Congratulations if you got it!
Actually, I boil it, and that's what she gets, too. I can buy frozen and already sliced (it can be tricky to cut whole ones), and then it just takes a few minutes of boiling for it to be ready 🙂
Actor/producer Patrick Muldoon (Melrose Place; Days of Our Lives...) has reportedly died & will be added to my 2026 Geeky Goodbyes (Starship Troopers; Ice Spiders; Robo-Dog...) later

Elf, yesterday, eagerly awaiting her piece of...okra!
I only recently found out she really likes okra (she likes a lot of veggies)

Screenshot from Le Voyage dans la lune (A Trip to the Moon) (1902) by Roger-Viollet One of cinema's most iconic images: the Man in the Moon with a rocket capsule lodged in his eye, from Georges Méliès's "Le Voyage dans la Lune" (A Trip to the Moon, 1902). The moon is rendered as a grimacing human face, the capsule embedded like an arrow. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_M%C3%A9li%C3%A8s#/media/Fichier:Le_Voyage_dans_la_lune.jpg/2

On this day in 2019, I witnessed one of the coolest things ever. A lenticular cloud lit-up by a setting sun over the Perito Morena Glacier in Argentina.

Happy 80th Birthday to the legendary Tim Curry! 🖤
Elf, coming in from Deck Patrol yesterday, flying her podengo flag (the white tip on the end of her tail). She's been doing that less lately, I suspect related to age. She has an annual exam coming up: I'll ask about it
Happy bookish birthdays, 19 April, to: José Echegaray (The Great Galeoto), Patricia Geary (Strange Toys), Mark E. Rogers (the Samurai Cat series)... ilmk.wordpress.com/2026/04/19/h...
I’ve had the good fortune to meet & talk with TIM CURRY — 80 Candles 🎂 today — a good few times over the years, and I can tell you that whatever you would’ve hoped him to be in real life, he truly is: charming, ribald, very funny, witty as f**k, larger than life, & just lovely.
