Being American is knowing there’s always a bigger idiot out there. Always.

Ive suggested super bollards to at least prevent vehicles from entrance.
I mean with this logic, we should all be laying on our car horns every time we go through an intersection at 55+ mph.
But nope, put all the regulations on the thing that rarely happens.
They have enough to rule out the answer to be a “they just don’t have at grade crossings” over there.
My head hurts just thinking about it
3 hours on a train with the horn blaring is enough to discourage me from ever riding again.
I’m pretty sure Wauwatosa is a quiet zone but I can hear the train a mile away clearly inside my house.
The biggest problem is people who want to be on the tracks, honking won’t ever hep that.
You know, see if something is on the tracks? So if there is, then the horns can blow and or maybe the train can slow or stop in time?
Like…. Other countries do NOT have this problem.
I mean, we have cameras and drones that could do the job better than making every one deaf for hundreds of miles.
My last trip on the borealis the horn was so loud so often it gave me a migraine
Omg please. Trash on the sidewalk is by far the worst part of NYC. Completely boggles the mind.
He solves this he’s a legend.

Iowa has like 12 GW of wind power. Wisconsin doesn’t even have 1.
And id counter that it’s harder to see the “transactional” nature from inside the fishbowl.
Realpolitik dominated US foreign policy for decades. We propped up plenty of autocrats to support US strategic political and capitalist interests.
Us. “keeping shipping lanes open” was never altruistic
Imagine all that bluster about tariffs, only for Don to manage to put the biggest most important tariff that has ever been in history, on himself because he's just that stupid.
They have more friends than we do these days. And have been awfully quick to swoop in when we've spurned someone.
I used to drink High Life.
I still do, but I used to, too.
I've replaced High Lifes with WaterLoo's.
Good call, but I'm not sure if my spouse appreciates the uptick in can consumption.

Well, the absolute death knell is the boneheadedness to attack Iran.
Normally you have some smart people going "the president doesn't directly control gas prices".
Now, 100% of everyone knows exactly whose fault this is. Can't understate how huge that is. No spin in the world can duck that.

AI is pretty useful, honestly. But its rollout to emphasize the absolute *last* jobs you'd want them to be doing (i.e. creative, emotional, soft skill jobs people enjoy having), all in the attempt to "impress", has to be one of the all time greatest prat falls in history.
Wait, this was real? I thought it was an onion article or something.
lol, I can tell from just the headline. The pacing is a giveaway.
Rule of 3 sentence structure. Vague generalization
Meanwhile,, I don't even know how to do an em dash on my keyboard!
(you learn a lot by asking AI about AI writing)
I mean, didn’t tariffs kill RadPower completely?
Wisconsin's 6-story single-stair bill dropped last month with 9 bill sponsors.
Oddly, the bill creates a council consisting of industry gatekeepers to author the single-stair code including an IRC expert even though 6-story projects would be under the IBC

This is why I’m firm “shut the whole thing down and get it done as efficiently as possible”
Not only does partial work probably cause more delays overall, it’s infinitely more dangerous.
Yeah, I think the people who drag him now don’t realize there’s not a single soul that could have changed that trajectory, and he was 25.
People don’t realize how quick it shifted from “haha, edgelord, dark humor, but I’m not really a Nazi”
to, “jokes on you, now I have a Nazi chest tattoo.”
I mean, obviously not, he eventually booted it all before it drove him to just give up and sell it for what he could get.
The site was ruining his life.
And no way Jeff convinced him of anything he didn’t already wanna do.
Nah, they HATE doing traffic policing. Maybe they want the funding, but they’re not fiending to keep the work
