It’s a horrifying moment, and all the IU campuses have remained silent. At IU South Bend, our Student Government Association has shown more backbone than our leadership in making strong resolutions in defense of academic freedom, endorsed yesterday by the Faculty Senate.
Indiana University has served the young people of the state and the country and the world as a model public university. These measures, passed without review or discussion, destroy IU’s independence and will if allowed to stand undo its essential character. (1/3)
