Yeah unfortunately the best Riddim fest is Northern Invasion and it's all the way in Canada :( but I'm going to check out Ressurection Nola this year in June and see how that is, it's a full underground Riddim lineup! Apocalypse also looks so good, along with the Rampage festivals in the EU.

Idk about socal bc but the Chicago one tends to get beaten out by North coast for me at least. If I was local I'd gladly do both, but I drive from Michigan so it's a bit of a choice for me. I'm glad you enjoyed beyond though, it's easily my favorite fest in terms of design and theme.

I lean towards the underground Riddim scene more than anything, it's the only genre I've ever mixed and the genre all my homies produce. I love north coast bc I can get my Riddim sets a few times per day and dance the rest of the day 💃
