It was a good weekend and thankfully loads of people turned up despite the showers. Great to spend the weekend with potter friends from different bit of the country too- there’s a huge potters meal for us all on Fri night in the big marquee- such a great community vibe behind the scenes

What a great 3 days it’s been, showing my ceramics at Potfest Scotland alongside 98 other potters!

Over winter I developed a new ash glaze and made larger vessels, and I’m delighted that they’ve been well received and found new homes. Just the encouragement I’ve needed to know I’m on the right path

Little sippers with their saucers, in my new woodash glaze that I’ve developed.
The wood is straight the forest outside my studio, that burned in my woodstove over the winter season. After quiet months of testing, it’s finally looking like lovely runny honey in this sunlight.
