Did much comic work on the kotatsu today where I'm able to stretch my leg out (thank goodness i got that floor chair) and also played some 1000xResist when testing it out on the legion tab.

People who refuse to accept Paper Jam as Paper Mario canon are just as strangely fascinating as people who think paper mario characters don't belong in 3D mario productions.

The type of voice given to Kamek is really common with short old assistants to bad guys, so I wasn't impressed, but it was not bad, either.

Kamek needs to do more in a movie than just praise Bowser and Junior all the time, and maybe then we can see the full emotional range of his voice. :)

and i do love me some fox mccloud! so many reviewers call him "Star Fox" and i keep cracking up internally!

The movie overall was funny and colorful, and took very interesting turns with character relationships! A lot of reviewers wanted the movie to be based on the actual Galaxy game or be bigger than what it came to be, but i think what we got opens up possibilities for more worlds and characters!

i had a dream during my most recent nap that i was drawing the next ifool story and it starts off with Kamek rushing up to rosalina because Fawful seemingly kidnapped her, but it turns out Rosalina kidnapped Fawful and she brags about it.

i would say this is ifool canon but Fawful walked into this.

I did like the second illumination mario movie way more than the first. it suffers the same problem as the first where Chris Pratt is an awful fucking mario and the writers WANT to implement a storyline and deeper headcanons, but the movie has to play out like a mario platformer with no story substance so we get a lot of tiny story elements that go into the void like the granny "i have breast cancer" segment from the movie "The Room". but Princess Peach was written way better this time whereas in the last movie she was written what seems like Illumination told a group of angry mysogynistic conservatives to portray "a strong female character". We also get to have more Charlie Day Luigi, and he was a lot of fun to have around a Luigi with a higher-pitched voice for the first time ever was very interesting. Bowser Jr was cringe thanks to his assigned voice actor. Fox mccloud was perfect in every way- reminds me of how Rareware portrayed him in Star Fox Adventures, and much of the character dialogue was really funny.
