Power blinked last night. No big deal, except my 'smart' lights default to ON when they regain power. Nothing like jolting awake to a fully-lighted house at 1am then trying to get back to sleep. :-/
TIL that when I roll my ankle while chainsawing, I can & will YEET the chainsaw the opposite direction from my fall. And also, TIL that my chain stop does work, especially after the chainsaw was yeeted onto the ground.
My two baby roosters are trying to crow, and it is absolutely adorkable! 🐓🐓No video, sadly, because they stop crowing when I get out the camera.

My road is a solid sheet of ice. Most roads in my county are an icy mess. Sheriff and Highway Patrol are saying stay off the roads.
This morning 2 double-wides have gone past my house to the new development up the road. WTF? How do you control a HOUSE on icy roads when it starts going sideways?!?
A once-a-decade snowfall at the coast. It's very powdery, which is what I was trying to video, until Vader-doggo decided otherwise. You can see the moment he careens into me. :-)
