Yaah.. I'm unsure even why they're advertising that specific achievement. IMO, 'robot runs for nearly an hour without falling over' would be a bigger deal, and more so if it wasnt a very controlled course that this appears to be X3
something something all those earlier posts about 'lol bsky ai slop' in regards to the poor performance over the day sure seem a bit premature in hindsite...

Yep. Some of the older cables use an insulation material that tastes sweet. Whoever could have thought that would never get chewed on.. :V

We are down to the last 10 figurines!!! The store at shop.hervy.art is going to be up until May. Then any remaining figurines will be sold local or through email only.
I am blown away and extremely thankful for all that supported me with this project. Thank you all so much for your orders π§‘π§‘π§‘

Yah. I'm just nitpicky about semantics.
Many people did have to drain their checking accounts and what was left of retirement accounts to keep afloat (myself included) to deal with the after effects. But the standard banking/savings accounts were otherwise protected.
Investment securities based on packages of bad mortgages (driven by horrible lending practices) sold as 'good' had a big part of it, yes.
But cash in checking accounts was fine. The results of the mortgage crash led to those accounts being drained by their holders.
That's not how the 2008 issue happened, nor did people loose money they 'had in the bank' (in standard checking and savings accounts)
It was centered around investments (stocks, retirement accounts, mortgages) tldr: things not covered by FDIC.
Social media β‘ Burn Out
This is exactly why I feel so many Artists get burned out so quickly and so many younger Artists are having such a hard start getting into art or even sticking with it.
The need to constantly "perform" isn't conductive to a healthy mind/body let alone just a natural upkeep.
Also this subscribestar thing, really showing how people want to be reactionary rather than patient and logical :V
Appears to be technical maintenance; www.subscribestar.com/posts/2246911
Just give it a day or so before doing anything.
I dont understand peoples -NEED- to take a screenshot of a blog post and then share that instead of.. just fucking sharing the link to the blogpost.
People want their fake internet endorphine points or something.
Digital art of a black and purple alien furry being pulled through a mirror by hir own demonic reflection. The room seems littered with magical artifacts and green candle flames are pulled toward the mirror
Very...very long overdue "payment" to my housemate for helping rescue my car a couple years back. Shi did not ask for it to be this complicated but I am me, so lol Was a hell of a challenge and I cursed it out more than once, but in the end I'm pretty happy with the result β₯

matching hex codes exactly is goofy AF.. for pieces where there is a lot of lighting and background, casting shadows, etc.
For a flat color, unlighted, no scene, no light source image, sure. Match that hex exactly.
But for things where lighting is in play? Pft. No.
Yiiiis >,,>!
Dot worry about it. One person can not possibly keep up with many having their own conversations. It just FOMO blaring in your head.
stressing over what modern communication access has given us is not worth.. well the stress.
Yes, this. I am seeing so much of that @,,@
Discord did shoot themselves in the foot a bit on this. They could have had the detailed explainer up with the initial post. There are things they could do to make the whole situation more transparent.
But we got this instead.
yesterday was a lot of talk in places about the discord.
SO. Much. Misinformation.
Trying to avoid it today.. and I'm still seeing tons of it >,,< A lot of hot takes for quick dopamine reaction likes, outright false information used as fact, UGH.
While this absolutely sucks, we are going to see a lot more places implementing universal global age verification over this next year, because the number of states and countries legally requiring it has gotten to the point no one can keep up anymore.

I did get caught on the service restart but didnt get the prompt. Many others didnt get it either, but 2 so far said they did get it.
