They use a topical numbing agent before the procedure so a few spots it felt sensitive, but it wasn’t bad. Healing is a bit uncomfortable—I walked around with an ice pack in my pants a lot and took Tylenol a few times, and one of the times the healing was itchy, but overall it’s pretty mild

Poly folks, if a long term partner wanted flexibility around scheduling things because of a new partner, what would you think they were looking for?
How often would it feel appropriate for them to schedule over existing plans before it feels more like a lack of consideration vs wanting flexibility?
The US is running a Stanford Milgram experiment on a societal scale.
Walz: I think they hate public education because it’s easier to run an authoritarian government if you don’t have a population that knows.
Might save a life.
The amount of money I would throw at anyone trying to invent something that would get smells out of your hair without having to wash it.
My hair smells perfumey from somewhere I went last night but I JUST washed it, no one with curly hair has time to wash their hair this much
We only know this man is in Gitmo because Noem tweeted a propaganda photo that included him and his sister saw it. He has no criminal record. He entered the US in January and immediately made an appointment with CBP to claim asylum. They sent him to a concentration camp bc of his basketball tattoo.
BREAKING: The US government’s primary foreign aid organization is losing the vast majority of its staff, forcing the agency's lifesaving work to screech to a halt.
Dude I'm this 🤏 close to having a fucking meltdown over the absolutely unhinged shit happening in our country... and yet I'd still be acting more reasonably than anyone running this fucking government if I did. What the ever-loving fuck is this bullshit?
EXCLUSIVE: The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is a sleepy part of the Treasury Department. It’s also where, sources say, a 25-year-old engineer tied to Elon Musk has admin privileges over the code that controls Social Security payments, tax returns, and more.
Include disabled people in your resistance planning. In many ways we’re built for resistance, as we have to find creative and sustainable ways to survive every single day.
This is the time for intersectionality and community care. We need to work together and save one another.
The fucking irony of 47 having any opinion on who is and is not qualified to have their job…
Inside a dark turquoise frame, black text on a pale beige background. At the top, the title “Beyond Do No Harm. Health Care Strategy Consult.” Below is an EKG line, followed by text: “Whether it is providing gender-affirming care or abortions or care for migrants — health care workers can and should refuse to facilitate criminalization, harm, and violence to their patients. If you have questions and want support around not complying in advance, reach out and connect with our consultation service.” At the bottom is the URL “bit.ly/bdnhconsult”

A lot of people who obey will struggle with the reality that they did something harmful in obeying, so they’ll twist themselves in knots to reinterpret their actions as moral and good.
But that’s how fascism ideologically wins—and expands. It makes us complicit and asks us to defend our morality.
Capitalism excels at getting us to be mad at one another, and especially with folks who are struggling even more than we might be.
They’re scapegoats. They’re not why eggs are expensive or you can’t afford a house, or why school shootings happen. They’re literally just normal people trying to make ends meet. Billionaires, cooperations, and lobbyists are who we should be getting rid of.
The point is that, once you accept the premise that some people are less human, and their suffering doesn't matter, and that they have no right to exist where they physically are, it suddenly becomes easy to justify a lot of atrocities.
That's why you must reject that premise at the start.
First they came for the immigrants, and I spoke out, because I’ve read the damn poem before and I know how it ends.
I am beyond disgusted by all these media sources pretending that wasn’t a fucking nazi salute. It’s fucking gross. Jfc.
@nytimes.com what the hell. It’s a nazi salute!!! What kind of bullshit, second rate journalism is this? Get your shit together. That you aren’t just calling this what it is is despicable. Do better.
The amount of time and energy I spend trying to find a damn hotel that doesn't use fragrances on their sheets or in their hotel rooms is absurd. What do people who don't have fragrance sensitivities do with all the free time they have not having to do this?
To my able bodied comrades: It’s time to stand with disabled people and be in solidarity with us. Wear a mask and practice compassion and community care.
To my disabled comrades: I love you. ❤️
Yeah, I deleted it from my phone when I saw the “president orange will save us” message the other day. I’ll miss all the info I learned and all the cool art inspiration, but I’m good without the BS propaganda
