Und Zertifizierungszwang. Das ist an sich nichts Schlechtes. Aber es hält auch die Kleineren vom Markt.

Probably, it will.
Ich glaube, dass sich vor allem die politische Denkweise von allen anderen unterscheidet. Da geht es oft um Machterwerb und -ausbau und nicht wirklich darum, was für alle oder die Zielgruppe gut ist.
Definitely looks good on video nudge nudge wink wink 😉

Did you know, that the AMTECH NC-559-ASM flux is fluorescent in UV light? That is for making checking for a proper cleaning easier.
Now comparing it to the Eevblog and the Fluke multimeter. The source may be slightly off.
I am trying to understand my precision source (U, I, R, f). It is not very intuitive. And I don’t know, how well my multimeters are calibrated. Good enough for normal work.

This is such a great youtube channel about photography. The guy has some great stories to tell. youtube.com/@fredandharr...
You might have success with a wifi repeater placed at the window.
I have to lift my glasses and get close to read the display in some modes. This mode is ok, though. The display is not much bigger than a thumb nail.
It is a quite small display. You might need a macro lens.
I usually have power supplies, that need to be checked. And then I only need to connect the electronic load or a load resistor. Connecting the device and monitor the current is the less often use case.
That definitely helps with about half of the problem. The adapters fit on the output connector. But if you want to connect a whatever output PSU to the measurement thingy, you still have to build something to connect it to the barrel jack of that thingy.
Yes, it does. You just need to build adapters, if required.
I just found this on AliExpress: | DT550 High Precision DC Power Meter Digital Voltage Current Tester Universal Compatible 4.5-50V 0-6A DC 5.5*2.5 Interface Tester

I also tried it with hardware: a programming interface for the ESP32C3. Now, that would have been expensive, if I would have used it in my design! It was completely wrong.
Vernal = Spring is in the air.
The voltage drop under load is due to the thin input cable (that I had at hand).
Actually a nice toy for little money. I think, it should include adapters for other type of barrel connector. It has a 5.5mm/2.1mm connector input and does not work with most 5.5/2.5mm PSU connectors. And in some modes there are too many decimals for the accuracy.
Just blend it in with the mustache, then it is half as bad.
Another one back to life. It was simple: the fuse was blown by testing a harness with a short circuit. Result: blank screen. I am glad, anyway.

Today, I have learned the word „vernal“ 🙂
They defeated the Soviet Union 💪
Those are Finnish troops, right?
They consume a lot of power to produce a lot of bullshit. Actually AI could be pretty useful. Instead, we do this 😉
It supplies power. I like the voltage/current over time graphic view. That seems to be in many Chinese products, nowadays. Not just Fnirsi.
I have used ChatGPT to produce some BASIC code for my Clockwork Pi PicoCalc. That didn’t really work very well. It tends to invent instruction and does strange things. I also used it for generating a rudimentary website on an ESP32C3. That was better.
Short boards still kind of work with a blown (9VAC) fuse. Just in a shitty way. The VICII is powered by 5V only. The long board VICII requires the 9VAC, so the blown fuse results in a totally dead C64. The harness, that I have tested was faulty and blew the fuse.
New lab power supply. Unfortunately, not every review on youtube is great. But it looks pretty cool.
Pewww… finally, it works.
Since our own mistakes are our best teacher, there are not many embarrassing mistakes. Just repeating them is not considered wise.
