Yep! That sounds like a great plan. Also covers the one thing I didn’t mention with is little friends who like to dig through dirt for treats such as cats, birds and certain poodles who think blood and bone meal is delicious.
But you must must must water daily, sometimes even twice daily. Moisture is key to germination. You could cover with cellophane to retain moisture but I do worry outdoors about that basically cooking my seedlings because I have no control over the temperate of the light source outside(sun)
Yep! I have these outside. It’s been pretty warm here for a month or so now and I’m pretty confident I can keep soil temps warm so I’m just rolling the dice. I would say, generally speaking, if it’s staying in the 50s or higher overnight you can get away with just starting in cells outside
