I got an Anbernic handheld, downloaded a bunch of roms of legendary NES/SNES jprgs I’ve never played, and then immediately struggled to force myself through the first 20 minutes of all of them because there’s no guilt/cost of quitting. Ugh.

This is exactly why I’m holding off buying an S2 until I find out if we get a full remake of Ocarina of Time this year. That would be enough to push me over the edge.
I would buy two of this one just to make 100% sure I always had a backup.
“Curds” in the retro font would also be acceptable.
Put “Frisco” on the Giants’ City Connects next
The Wisco Sconnies.
Words I **definitely** use to describe myself and the state.
This almost made me quit the game. I can still hear it.
Stir-fry that kid some Hearty Radishes to celebrate!
I loved BOTW so much that I stopped just before Calamity Ganon and didn’t fight him because I didn’t want it to be over. Technically that means I’ve never stopped playing.
This is the weirdest internet conversation I’ve been part of.
What? I’m not sure why you’re so confused. The plan is for municipal employees with children, and the reply was encouraging expansion of a great plan to additional groups, like working-class single parents.
Single doesn’t = childless
I thought baseball was boring for a long time, then I realized it’s only boring to watch on TV. Listening to the Brewers on the radio while I do other stuff is the best.

If you believe my email, I’m qualified to be a Pharmacy School Dean and a Classics prof. Opportunities abound.
Thoughts do not need to be controversial to be worth having and sharing.
How many acres does it take to hallucinate the wrong answers to a Chemistry midterm though?
Every time someone uses this phrase, I think about you telling Audrey on MP that “junk food” is actually more accurate

Awesome - can’t wait!
This looks terrific. Any chance of a Switch physical cartridge?
My mom just mailed me the GameBoy I had in middle school and I got to share it with my Switch-loving 7th grader. It made me a little more misty-eyed than I expected - just like your essay did!
Crossing my fingers for the Oracle games to get this treatment too
I know exactly this feeling and I hate it. I’ve got good papers & projects that I just don’t bother assigning anymore because it’s not worth the suspicion - but then I’m immediately disappointed in myself for taking something away from students who’d have gotten a lot out of the assignment. Blergh.
1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?
Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.
Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!
@oonahathaway.bsky.social is exactly who I wanted to hear from at this moment. Her work is all over my international law syllabus.
I’m chairing a search committee next year and don’t worry we WILL be going line-by-line through middle school transcripts
I just earned the right to swim into Lord Jabu-Jabu’s mouth yesterday, and my goal is to finish the game today!
I grew up on LttP & Link’s Awakening, but I’d moved on to other stuff by the time the Oracle games came out. I’m so glad I got back to them, because the nostalgia hits deep.
Microplastics are here to stay; that's why we need to eat them responsibly in the classroom
