Macht ja die KI. 🤯 Die Leitlinie ist vage (geht auch gar nicht anders bei den sich dermaßen schnell verändernden KI-Gegebenheiten). DFG sieht weiter die Verantwortung bei GutachterInnen, suggeriert aber gleichzeitig, man könne jetzt mit KI viel schneller und mehr schaffen. Dh, mehr Arbeit für uns.

Auf jeden Fall führt Arbeitsplatzmangel + KI für Antragstellung zu Antragsflut.
Da „hilft“ KI in der Begutachtung nicht.

Die #DFG hat eine KI-Leitlinie (mit KI-generiertem Erklärvideo) auf ihrer Seite veröffentlicht,wie zukünftigt #KI in Begutachtungen eingesetzt werden darf. In den Q&As findet sich die Frage warum die DFG KI überhaupt zulässt.

Is there anything written on this? Beyond the usual AI critique? I saw Annika's text on Palantir in US universities. Before talking about fascistization, I'd like to understand whether anyone sees the connections and the potential dangers. I can't tell whether my altertness is an overreaction or not

I never imagined that I'd collect studies as 'evidence' to be used why AI is bad for thinking. That I'd register for webinars not to learn, but to take notes of how all political, ethical, ecological aspects are ignored. That I am contemplating how strongly to talk back, because (@ Uni) nobody does.

I also wonder why (@ Uni) people do not draw the connection from Palantir / Thiel et al to GenAI-tools that we should now 'incorporate' into our teaching to make it 'interactive', 'future-oriented', 'flexible', etc. I am still reluctant to make this explicit bcs I do not understand the silence...

Yes, it's annoying that it's a thread on X, but I think the difference between what you are writing / whom you are citing & everyone only now encoutering this bs (incl me) is that I do not work on these topics per se, but have to educate myself now in order to push back what is being forced upon us
