I’m Episcopalian. Devoutly so. And very gay. The Catholic Church doesn’t care what I think. But I care a hell of a lot about the witness they’re doing for my whole religion by virtue (and vice) of the cultural power they have over billions of faithful people.

Has the person ordained a BISHOP in the largest Christian church in the world read one word of the prophets? Major or minor? Has he read the Gospels? Matthew, Mark, Luke or John? Any of the Pauline Epistles? The Church Fathers and Mothers? Ecclesial documents of his own church?
