Challenging him isn’t the point. He’s a conspiracy theorist shock jock I see no reason to have on the BBC. There’s plenty of people I disagree with who I agree with being on, eg. Most of the Labour cabinet these days. But he isn’t in the category of disagreeable but worthwhile.

I’m also no big fan of Streeting but agree that I think comparing them undermines the critique of Carlson, and only in the end makes Carlson appear more palatable as opposed to making Streeting look worse

He hasn’t fallen out with Trump in a big way — he diverged on one issue and Trump had a tantrum. Carlson said he still liked Trump during the interview.

Victoria Derbyshire is now pressing Carlson about having extremists on his show and asking about the morality of doing so. Can’t make it up.

Tucker Carlson as a guest is a pathetic and despicable new low.

I’ve tried several times to get an NHS diagnosis and, despite my screening result being basically a siren, have gotten nowhere. And I’ve given up because I hate forms and each time is starting the whole process all over again. The subtext that getting diagnosed is really easy just doesn’t seem true.
