We're are on Fuertaventura. It was the quickest transit through the airport ever experienced 30 mins From the new facial and fingerprint check, though border control, baggage and the car hire in 30 mins. Amazing!

We will hopefully be there on Saturday as long as the Spanish air traffic controllers don't strike on Friday

Just getting into the lifestyle. It's been fun. We both decided to go early before things started to drop off. Retirement has a tendency of creaping up on you, it did for us. I'm sure you will be retired soon too!
