Yup. Looks like cloudflare is down. If I was looking for a sign to stop working and focus exclusively on the cricket, this is it....

Looks like a wider issue, I'm getting similar with Elsevier and Mendeley this morning
I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to access Mendeley and Elsevier @elsevierconnect.bsky.social - is it just me? #PhDChat
Could be worse, some of us have been here since first ball at 2:20am 😳
Thanks Phillip! Don't suppose you have a reference for this presentation do you? It's not mentioned on the slides.
Thanks so much Alan, I've emailed you 😊
Librarians are brilliant 🤩
Are you willing and able to send me a copy of the report? I’ll DM you my email address
Full Librarian kudos to you if found 😉⭐
@hammerslibrary.bsky.social I might be pushing my luck now, this article ciliphlg.com/wp-content/u... refers to a forthcoming report for NLH on the experience of piloting LibQUAL in 2006. I don't suppose anyone still has access? I'm writing a research paper on LibQUAL in the UK.
Thanks Phillip - I was getting a timed out error yesterday but that could just be me - it had been a long day!
Can any @cilip.bsky.social Health Libraries Group friends help me access the following article?
Atkinson, J. Getting the evidence... and using it? NLH/NHS England LibQUAL + Pilot Library Survey 2006: the RCN experience. Libraries for Nursing Bulletin 2006, 26, 3–11.
The #Cilip archive is down.
Week 2 and I’m already out of the @oulibrary.bsky.social #gbbo sweepstake 😟
Seems appropriate somehow 🤣
Can any of my Swedish (or otherwise) Library friends tell me if Bibsam is an acronym of something? And if so, what?

A row of Archive stacks with turning handles
In one of our archive strong rooms there is a shelf. The shelf does not contain the most exciting or interesting item in the archive but it does contain something amazing.

Libraries have worked hard to provide frictionless access to academic information, we might need to change this if information sources become fragmented. Digital and Information Literacy skills will be crucial. Great read @heroicendeavour.bsky.social www.timeshighereducation.com/opinion/cuts... 📚

A map of a part of Lancashire with areas shaded to show darker colours representing greater deprivation

Lancashire were brilliant and open to exploring types of library usage, the deprivation levels alongside % population of membership, as well as the urban/rural divide.
The excellent team led by Charlie King (not on here) at the @oulibrary.bsky.social has completed user testing on the new #Primo AI Research Assistant. We've shared our findings here to help other libraries: oro.open.ac.uk/103099/

Another UK university drops big Elsevier deal
The @york.ac.uk has opted out of a subscription deal with the academic publishing giant Elsevier, saying it needs to adopt a “more financially sustainable approach”, @resprofnews.bsky.social has learned.

@maccamk.bsky.social great to see you today, thanks for a really interesting and beneficial conversation.
"The University will not renew its 'big deal' subscription to Elsevier, which expires on 31 December 2024."
Well done Sheffield! Here's hoping others follow suit next year...
