In which we come to learn how the Sundered City earned its name, and who, in the feud between the Houses, was ultimately to blame...

A tiny comic i drew really fast. sully is walking with carrie, hes dressed in punk clothes, vest and boots with a mohawk. shes wearing a frilly pink dress and heels with what is probably his jacket over her. hes asking her ' like, whats the deal, ya know? Everyones always tellin' ya how to look, how to dress. get on this diet, lose that much weight, dont wear this, dont do that. they've been puttin' lipstick on ya since you were like, four!' carrie looks annoyed and says, 'yeah? so?' in the next panel he says 'I just wonder who you'd be without everyone tellin' ya all the time!'
He continues with 'do you even know?' Carrie is looking up at him with a mixed expression of annoyance and about to cry (its based on the sailor moon redraw meme.) in the next panel shes red in the face with angry eyebrows. offscreen, sully seems to realize he may have pushed too hard and says 'oh man, I'm sorry. I'm being a dick. (he is not above apologizing.) in the last panel, Carrie turns away, sad brows and red face and says 'i'd be a boy.'
Sully, in his ever deepening wisom looks at her and says 'What?' to which she replies louder 'I DON'T KNOW!' in the last panel on this page, Carrie is full our crying and saying 'Sometimes i look in the mirror, and i don't see ME, ya know?! I know it's stupid. I can't be a bot, but...' sully cuts her off in the middle with 'i mean, sure ya can.'
a full page panel where hes leaning in to comfort Carrie. She (they? he?) sniffles and asks 'wait...I can? Whatdya mean?' and so sully explains 'i have friends that aren't boys no more, so i don't see why you gotta be a girl if thats not what you feel.' they wonder 'you don't think i'm weird?' and he reassures them 'course not! I like boys (a reassurence he will still like them no matter what) i'm queer, remember? I bet it's kinda like that. you just know you ain't what society tells ya. (being deep for a 15 year old punk kid.) You're you, and i dig that.'
I had made this little comic really fast on TDoV as well, and forgot to post it here, but i really like it so here it is. This is part of the 80's au of my comic Mil-Liminal and a reimagining of Caro coming out as trans to Sully.<3
Anyway I loved that show and was sad it got cancelled.
"it" in that sentence is "the future", not skynet.
Of course the pilot and premise of the show renders that statement factually incorrect anyway.
It doesn't last, thankfully.
I mean, the surgery does. The pain not so much.
