Recently finished #indiegamedev Carlos Coronado's #horror #indiegame (The Wine & The Beggar). I'm a bit curious about the upcoming third title - might warrant an interview. In the meantime. Check out the playthroughs @ www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

Heyo! New #indiegamedev interview with Brain In A Vat - Where they talked about their horror fueled #indiegame, #morimens ; the struggles it went through, it's future- as well as odds and ends about the narrative and mechanics. Go check it out @ youtu.be/-Vsd5hUMAT8
The new interview isn't out (yet) BUT new #indiegame content~! I poked into #indiegamedev @carlosgamedev.bsky.social #horror title 'The Wine'. Check out both parts over @ youtu.be/Qq13mKXE1mw
Today I found out that #indiegamedev @sukeban.moe had a steam trailer for a new game - store.steampowered.com/app/3014650/...
Interesting to see Anna in it, too.
Been enjoying some nice streams lately- and gonna keep up the #indiegame streak going with #horror title, Necrophosis - over @ twitch.tv/arlyeon. Finding something niche to poke into is nice.
How goes progress?
Still on Hiatus from reviews- but having a relaxing evening playing an #indie #horrorgame - Namely 'Horror Tales- The wine' over @ www.twitch.tv/arlyeon
. . . I don't feel this will go super well, if you displace a whole lot of people without being able to provide them sustainable income/basic necessities of life.
Repeating that Peril is VERY cool. Amazing sense of scale and adventure, constantly switching tones.
My only real complaint is that on Normal and even Hard it can be a bit too easy. I'm no Quake god (Mazu's maps in QBJ3 obliterate me) but found Nightmare to be most comfortable for me here.
I do wish you luck with your project, however, even as far as personal satisfaction goes. I understand, implicitly, the search for meaning in getting the words/ideas in your head out.
(At least, as long as you're the one writing the dialogue/script for your title. If you're not. ...I squint).
It feels odd to see the tag gamedev, when you're not doing any coding
Iron Man meme, edited, Obadiah Stane yelling, "Your ancestors made timeless art in a cave! With berries and ash!"
"I need AI to make art, human art is only for the rich and privileged-"
Frog magician riding a giant frog
FROG MAGICIAN!
I've been chipping away at my #indiegames backlog finally, since I've started my vaycay - and I gotta say, I found #indiegamedev Serenity Forge 's The King's Bird -harder- then #celestegame to a notable degree, especially once I hit the end. Check it @ youtu.be/HCdbyBOcfZU
It's super rad that Brian did story writing for this
Oh no. It's so blurry c.c
I've been tinkering around with my let's play channel some more, (Because I really just want to plink at my #indiegame backlog) - and just released my playthrough of Gris . Check it out @ www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...
(Also, I'm going to be taking a whee break- a teeny tiny hiatus, so I can finally catch up on playing video games, and having fun. I might try to slip some interviews in during the interim. But, Yeah. I just need some me time. It's been a decade. I'm Torched.)
New #indiegame review. Specifically I covered #indiegamedev @nomadastudiobcn 'Gris' and @DONTNOD_Ent 's Jusant. Check em out over @ youtu.be/49rQ-Cb5DkA
Btw, for the fans of #indiegamedev @projmoonstudio.bsky.social 's (Y'know #projectmoon) - I did a fun challenge run of some of #limbusCompany 's recent Canto 9 - Specifically, a slick Solo of the Climax Boss, as well as bullying Fae Lantern because of it's involvement in RR2. youtu.be/tSVyYYHg2Mc
New #indiegame Review - Specifically, I covered #indiedev New Core Games, #soulslike flavoured #metroidvania - Satgat: The Devil Within. Check it out @ youtu.be/NfjBdLBZJv8 - I'd been working at this for (too) long.
Also, New Review folks! Or Reviews, since I covered a quartet of #horror #indiegames, starting with @killmondaygames.bsky.social #Franbow & Little Misfortune, before moving on to Acellular games 'The Corruption', and Serene Questworks 'Castle of Secrets'. Check it out @ youtu.be/c2kG9shgJ1g
Ayyyy!
New review! I covered @thecryptmaster.bsky.social - for some sweet #indiegame #Puzzle #rpg action. Check it out @ youtu.be/yZHCqEKUUG8
I was looking at the steam page, and there's a good amount of variaty. including a chubby polar bear monk. So, I imagine this is just 1 guy with *vibes*
I'd look at the rest of the art, it's very distinct. I think one enemy being a pointy headed clunker knight is fine. Not like Blasphemous has a Monolopoly on different types of medieval armor.
I love the stuff you do
It's in early access, but if you liked Absolum, don't overlook Wendigo Blue.
Similar roguelite brawler structure, but it goes heavier on both sides of the equation. Some nice crunchy stat stuff, but also technical, combo-heavy combat
Also set in the same world as Valdis Story, if you remember that
There was another game beyond those two or Mundaun that was also hand drawn- and I believe was a dungeon crawler. But heck if I can remember the name :<
