Cancer sucks! If you have the funds, my wife's uncle was diagnosed with bone cancer earlier this year. We are participating in a 5k fundraiser in partnership with Fred Hutch in June. Uncle Mike is a great guy, army vet of the first Gulf war, and amazing family man

Frustrating end but on a different note, a regulation match ending at 10:30 pm on the west coast is criminal

Obviously Go @soundersfc.com but I fell in love with soccer when I lived in Mexico between 2008 and 2010 while living near Monterrey so Tigres are also my team. So shout out to Tigres for helping with my love affair but I need the Sounders to win today

A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)

More context on this #Artemis II image:

* This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right

* The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon:

@nosaudietis.sounderatheart.com Do you guys have any control over the non local ads in the podcast? In the last couple of weeks I've gotten ads for Ashley Madison and betting websites.

I want to clown on FC Cincinnati but the Sounders also once lost to Santos 6-1 in CCL so 🤷🏼‍♂️

8pm start for @soundersfc.com is giving me strong #PAC12AfterDark vibes. And it's CONCACAF so it seems ripe for shenanigans

Wow, this story is so well done.

I've never bet on sports but I hate how pervasive it has become. I don't see that anything good comes out of it and as is mentioned near the end, this kind of betting is now entering into other things such as war mongering.
