While watching by the river Thames the boat race last Sunday, I noticed how dirty the river was, including seeing a dead rat floating around and a lot of other stuff. It don’t use to be like that years ago.
Herbed Leg of Lamb is #RecipeOfTheDay! The vivid green of the marinade turns brown as it cooks, though the flavour loses none of its brightness www.nigella.com/recipes/herb...
Natural resources to take over as usual
The United States has threatened Mexico, Colombia, and Cuba with the possibility of future attacks. Mexico and Colombia would likely inflict heavy casualties on US invasion forces at first contact if a similar operation were attempted against their capitals.
Heavens to Betsy, you mean to say that the geriatric orange game show host sitting in the White House has lied? Again?!
How terribly, terribly unlike him.
As Trump uses violence abroad and turns America into a global pariah, he’s also threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act at home to give himself dictatorial powers
JHRC, is anyone in the US with a spine stopping this lunatic from causing WWIII?
Venezuelan elections will happen the moment there is no oil left there.
After 9/11, the US invoked Article 5 of the NATO treaty and every NATO member helped to combat terrorism.
Some of our closest allies, like Denmark, went even further, voluntarily sending troops to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of US-led wars there.
Today, Trump is threatening to attack Denmark.
From Washington to Europe, the same organisations keep appearing – Heritage, Heartland, Koch-linked groups – pushing identical anti-net zero scripts & climate change scepticism.
It’s a coordinated, well-funded project of fossil fuel money, think tanks, tech giants & political operatives
Desde 1953, América Latina y el Caribe han sido laboratorio de golpes de Estado con intervención directa o indirecta de Estados Unidos. Guatemala, Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Panamá, Haití, Honduras, Bolivia, Venezuela…
And on this kind of garbage hang the fates of nations
Spain shows leadership in the face of Trump's trampling of international law, a concept not even on Starmer's radar.
Mind you, Starmer's clamped so tight to Trump's buttocks, he can't see anything at all.
Even Farage admitted the USA's actions broke international law.

Turncoats
It’s Colombia 🇨🇴, but yes it’s appalling
The fall out from the US terrorist attack and invasion on Venezuela:
1) The Supreme Court has appointed a new leader, vice president Delcy Rodríguez, this action legally invalidates the opposition’s case for election fraud, they no longer have a case to claim legitimacy.
“Me suena bien una operación en Colombia”. Trump amenaza a Petro por tercera vez en un mes a quien ha acusado, sin pruebas, de ser miembro del narcotráfico

I worked for an American company and the CEO they sent here, changed his contract to a UK one, and was not thinking in relocated back to the US.
Some have claimed we're too cynical and inflexible on disabled children's rights. But here we are, with a clear indication that the government has given up on any sense of meaningful mainstream inclusion

"Some have claimed we're too cynical and inflexible on disabled children's rights. But here we are, with a clear indication that the government has given up on any sense of meaningful mainstream inclusion..”
Mr Toothe (some kind of Dickensian nominative determinist, clearly) said to the primary school kids at the open evening, as his opening gambit, "I just want you to know that all the scary rumours you've heard about this school from the older children.. ARE TRUE."
The thing that really gets me about this is that Mossbourne is not seen as beyond the pale by DfE or Ofsted, quite the contrary. They should be investigating how widespread this problem is and putting a stop to it.
Anne Whyte KC of QEB Hollis Whiteman was instructed by Fieldfisher to conduct an independent review into governance and institutional culture at four academy schools in Hackney run by the Mossbourne Federation.
A quote from the report into Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy states: Overall, the evidence captured about the voices of pupils paint a picture of a school environment characterised by a profound lack of empathy. One of the pupils recalled their first day, thinking ‘we have to be like robots’ and then being told when they left that staff had been ‘especially instructed to glare at year 7 students, to pick on them and intimidate them’.
‘A school environment characterised by a profound lack of empathy’
My only surprise about this depressing report is how long it has taken for the dark side of the Mossbourne cult to be acknowledged. A lack of care and respect for children was written into the formula and celebrated from day one.
