I understood Mamet better when I realized that in his mind Glengarry Glen Ross wasn’t a satirical indictment, but more akin to a wildlife documentary. Brilliant nonetheless

My old professor David Mamet shows up in Marty Supreme. Although his politics and world view enrage and depress me, I cannot deny my admiration for his best work. What can you do?
