A digitally colored set for the Critical Role show Weird Kids, featuring lots of vintage colors like burnt orange, mustard yellow, and that 70s green. Cohosts Taliesin and Ashley are featured, with Taliesin in his signature suit with metal details, and Ashley in a colorful blue pant suit.
This took a bit, however always glad to tackle an official CR coloring page. :D

New house word - Adlenol. Because we have a combo every 8 hour Advil/Tylenol pill. (it's not called that, but we Americans use name brands for everything.) Smoosh smoosh words. Smoosh smoosh.

I can read if my glasses are now halfway down my nose rather than on the tip of my nose. So. Improvement! Still weird and random AF, but eye doc says meh, see you this week but not worried. So...okay then.

Of all the reasons I've had to cancel a Daggerheart session, randomly blurring reading distance is a novel one. Come on body - work!

After my mom got shingles in her eye, and young, I was thoroughly motivated to figure it out.

Yep. Walk up to the counter at Walgreens, say you are immunocompromised, get Shingles series whenever you want. My parents all got Shingles in their late 40s so ... yeah. Sure my friend. Immunocomprimised. Hit me with that sweet, sweet science.

It's turn based, so that means you have time to figure things out before comitting to an action. You can save and revert if you make an egregious mistake. The biggest concern is controlling the camera, but if you can handle Civ 5 you're not hapless at navigation - you will pick it up quick!

Noting: While storms may be most widespread late afternoon and evening Monday, a few severe storms -- capable of producing tornadoes -- could develop between midmorning and midafternoon. Some areas could see more than one round of storms. You need to be weather-aware all day.

I am so eager to give it a spin - but I'm only at level 3 in my DaggerHeart campaign and projecting at least Level 7 before I can even think about learning another system. Still nailing down DH. It looks like such fun, though! FOMO. :D

Life is too short for shitty books. Mark books DNR. Mark books as Paused if you must, but really, truly, you can let go of that slog. Go find something you are genuinely EXCITED to read.

It's not that I don't want to read. My reading standard is higher as I age. Find a great book and I'm locked in. Give me a mediocre book and it's like eating my gd Wheaties. Marking crappy books DNR at 2% and moving on has actually increased my amount of pages read per month.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

If I were GMing a TTRPG and a player thought something was important, I'd want to make it important, because the interest is there. For a book, either make it important, or find a way to diminish it, if it's a note coming from multiple readers. Kill your darlings and all that.

A screenshot from Blue Prince. A magnifying glass enlarges a photo of a woman with straight, chin-length hair. The photo is one of several magazine clippings the player is inspecting.
Blue Prince, one of the best games of 2025, comes to Nintendo Switch 2 later today.
