I remember my last road half , set off like a fool thinking I’d find it easy and was suffering straight away after 2 miles . Was even eying up a short cut on the out and back loop - honestly my race pic was the worst EVER even my son felt sorry for me 😂

Never done a road marathon ( plenty of off road ones ) but done a few half’s could hardly walk due to DOMS after yet trail ones I’m fine 😬
