Thanks Sarah, good to hear your views resonate with the findings. I love your additions too which would make research in general practice much easier.

Thrilled that our survey on Barriers and Facilitators to primary care staff conducting research has been published.
The largest facilitator was clear patient benefit and the largest barrier was the inability to fit in extra work in. See paper for recommendations

It was a great evening with inspiring ideas to get involved in research. Such a fantastic supportive and collaborative city. #bradfordcityofculture
At the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine annual conference in Brighton presenting early findings from my NIHR Senior Clinical & Practitioner Research Award. A really relevant conference for fibromyalgia research focusing on the six pillars @BSLM

I absolutely loved this day and learned so much about lifestyle medicine. Hoping to attend the conference later in the year as fits in so well with my work on Fibromyalgia #BPSASM2025 #LifestyleMedicine
Brilliant education day on Lifestyle Medicine at the British Pain Society Conference culminating in Lee Vaughan talking about his pain journey. Great to learn about the importance of nutrition and exercise in pain management. #BPSASM2025 #painmanagement
Reviewer 2 must have really had a bad day. I’m trying not to take it personally. Reviewer 1 was as lovely as ever.
I checked my collection and I don’t have your missing ones I’m afraid. I was forcefully encouraged to thin down my collection a few years ago. I do miss the paper BNF and am thinking of investing in one again
I’m sorry I missed that one today!
Great to present at Clinical Pharmacy Congress today and hopefully enable and motivate others to take part in research @rpharms.com @uniofbradford.bsky.social @wy-icb-research.bsky.social
Brilliant news. Can’t think of anyone who deserves it more than #DavidAlldred

After a recent inpatient stay (as an adult) myself I can see the forced removal of responsibility from the patient. Awful to think about the risks of that for a child. Great paper Adam.
Delighted to be able to share the brilliant work of the Marie Curie REACT team along with that of a local community pharmacy who have worked together to improve palliative care in Bradford.

“After one year of the zone, nitrogen dioxide from traffic was lower, GP visits for respiratory illnesses were down by 25% and those for heart problems decreased by 24%”
Hi, it’s a bit tricky to find people at first isn’t it
It’s taken so long but finally got through my 2756 papers on Covidence. Maybe just been lucky to have small systematic reviews in the past
Great to be a part of it
I couldn’t have COVID jab at work as it was too close to when I had COVID and now we have run out. Think there are logistical problems gaining it too
Chocolate log!

Would really recommend applying or nominating for this award. I was shortlisted this year and it helped me in so many ways despite not being the ultimate winner
Covidence is a revelation - how did I ever do systematic reviews before? Might take a while though - Screening…159 down, 2597 to go
