According to our anonymous student evaluations, I am now a certified "Süßmaus"—which can be vaguely translated to 'sweet mouse,' even though that doesn't fully capture its nuances of endearment.
So can I get an emoji combining 🥸 and 🐭 in the next Unicode update, please?

@amperjay.bsky.social giving yet another phenomenal presentation—the first keynote in our 2025 Sci-Fi Summer School at TU Chemnitz. Way to discuss mental models so both undergraduates and advanced post-docs can take something away from it 🫰🏻
Aye, I wonder the same thing! And I mean... at least in order to explain the genesis of religion, it appears pretty darn useful to me.
Hehe, we most certainly will. 🔨 Thanks, friend!
Although we also had a recent fun case where a fandom scholar equaled our submission on "hostile fan behaviors" among music fans with media institutions painting refugees in a bad light. So who knows 🫠
You might be onto something, Nick! Two of the four anecdotal experiences I mentioned concerned submissions in the field of Human-AI interaction. T
I mean, there's just *no* need for a young PhD student to read the sentence "Well, that's academic writing to you." in their first peer review. 🤦🏻
Please join our doctoral student Jiyeon Yeo for her first poster session at #ICA25 🥳 at the Centennial Foyer in Regency 3.
May you rest in peace and surrounded by all the olives paradise has to offer. Just keep chilling on your cosmic chair until I follow later on, ok?
Always chilling on his little chair next to me as I wrote a Master's thesis, a PhD dissertation, and my first grant proposal. Moved with me all over the country as the career required such mobility. And stayed my loyal friend for 15 years, through many personal hardships. I'm so grateful, Gilbi 💔
This is so well-deserved... Congratulations to you, Sarah! 🥳 So excited to witness firsthand how your academic journey continues.
Special thanks to the EU research alliance #ACROSS and the DGPs Media Psychology Division (@mepsy.bsky.social) for generously supporting our event—e.g., with dedicated travel grants! 🙏 Looking forward to your applications from ACROSS partner universities and FG members (as well as all others)! 👽
Please apply until May 31st, 2025—we encourage adding an extended abstract so that we can discuss your work in our poster session 🖼️ Final invitation letters will be sent out to 25 participants by mid-June 💌

I would like to use the current, decision-letter fueled #ICA25 buzz to send my gratitude to the program/division/interest group chairs—who surely invested a lot of their time to handle this enormous review extravaganza. 🙏
Haha, and just catching up with you and Jaime over a birthday drink is a hefty plus point, too
Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for an opportunity to meet my international peers and friends again, so that list already has a huge PRO 🫠 #ICA
Really delighted that my team and I got several submissions accepted at #ICA25, but those letters were followed by a moment of contemplation:
Spending my birthday in Trumpland honestly wasn't on my bucket list for 2025. Got a pro/con list to fill out... 🤔💭
High five, I did the same today! :)
A Panda laboratory
What do you mean this is not what a regular home office looks like...?!
Really grateful for yet another opportunity to work with you, @amperjay.bsky.social — and very excited for this awesome collection to hit the shelves!
Ever since we found a ripped-off Barbie arm on a beach in Greece, our family has owned the most perfectly proportioned spoon to put herbs and salt on our breakfest eggs.

Based on our 12-item scale to measure attitudes towards AI (ATTARI-12), my colleagues @tgnambs.bsky.social & @markusappel.bsky.social, as well as the team over at the #SOEP have now developed a new short questionnaire to measure domain-specific AI attitudes in healthcare, education, and at work ⤵️
