There's never a guarantee of no pain when working with needles but you can absolutely improve form to minimize pain. That's why I've had patients who said it hurt and some who said they didn't feel it at all, practice. Plus you're always gonna have some bad sticks it's human nature.

Also not to say that a piercer is bad if their work isn't painless, but some of them are legit built different. My mom is uuuuuuber sensitive, she is not the pain tolerant type, and she didn't feel it at all. She went to the same guy as me, he's just crazy with it and it's not the MOST painful spot.

"It's a NEEDLE through your skin it's gonna hurt" and yet I didn't feel it, how crazy the world is! Each spot is different it's really not hard to understand.
