2025 was shockingly good for class point-and-click adventures, and Elroy And The Aliens seems like it flew under the radar despite being exceptionally polished.

Elroy and the Aliens is one of my top games of the year. I played this game as a Demo in January steam next fest and ranked it an A. Now, almost a year later finishing the full game, I can say I was wrong then. This is an S tier game.

I was looking over a list of some of the best games from 2025 and realizing that there are quite a few more that are still on my list to play which have received great reviews from critics and gamers.

I've seen videos of these, but I haven't played them.

Direct control with a gamepad is slowly becoming my favorite way to play point and click adventure games.

I never thought that my favorite way to play point and click adventure games would be with a controller.
