Well looks like my body is used to running 6k. Time to up the distance again. Slowly building towards that 100 mile race in 2027.

Felt sluggish today when I went for a run but surprisingly got 7k in 53mins. Still a long road to a 100 mile race but progress is being made every week.
The Book That Wouldn't Burn
By: Mark Lawrence
This book has been a journey. From the world building to the intense ride of twists, turns, and surprise discoveries leaving you craving more as you read the last lines of text. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

Well it's been about 1.5 years since I ran last and figured it's time to get off my ass and get back out there. 2026 I'm starting my goal of training to run and complete a 100 mile race before the end of 2027. It's going to be a long road to success but as always...Love The Grind!

Yumi and the Nightmare Painter
By: Brandon Sanderson
From a lonely painter dealing with nightmares to the warm stones in the hands of a yoki-hijo, you see a beautiful world build around them as you flow through this story from beginning to end.
Great story and fun read

Just finished Assassin's Quest By Robin Hobb
Being the 3rd book in the Farseer Trilogy, this story was a nonstop roller-coaster. Fitz and his "pack" close out a beautiful adventure of struggle with a dash of success. Must read for anyone looking for a beautifully crafted world.

Just finished Mouse Guard: Dawn of the BlackAxe - issue 1
This is my first adventure into the world of Mouse Guard, and I fell in love with the artwork when I saw this cover. Can't wait for the next issue. The world and characters are very well done.

Another question for the readers out there.
When you finish reading a book do you give yourself time to digest it and think about it before you start your next adventure or do you move on to your next book before the cover of the last one even had a chance to cool off?

Finished Legends & Lattes
By: Travis Baldree
This was a fun one to experience. Following Viv on her day by day adventures of hanging up her trusty sword Blackblood for her new weapon of choice a gnome coffee machine and a vision of her own business.
Who wants a coffee?

Wish I lived over there so I could stop in. Starting book 3 of the Farseer Trilogy soon and boy, I hope Fitz and crew get to deal much needed revenge against Regal and the rest of his lot. This series has me hooked.
Just finished book 2 of the Farseer Trilogy - Royal Assassin By: Robin Hobb
There is so much the develops in this book that it keeps you saying just 1 more chapter before I call it a night.
Book 3 is in queue, and I can't wait to see what Fitz and his friends put into motion.

So I have a question for everyone. Do you read 1 book at a time, or do you read multiple books at the same time?
Myself I find that I have to start and finish 1 book at a time.

I'm working on finishing the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb right now but I have had my eye on this series for a while now. Think I need to start tracking them down for my collection.
Loved this movie. Who doesn't dream of traveling space in a ship with solar sails
Those are great. I can see the world build around them in my mind. Beautiful designs.
Ha, right there with you. I always wish I was a faster reader as well as I see how much time has passed and so few chapters completed.
I don't have these in my personal library yet, but I'm very tempted to buy the set with the new cover art I've been seeing in the stores.
Man when I stumbled upon Quest 64 when I was younger I had a blast playing that game. The other game I loved just as much was Crystalis on NES
Finished reading Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
This is one of those books that takes you through a range of feelings and makes you think about so many things. How different could the lives of George and Lennie be if the cards were delt a little different.
A must-read

Finished reading Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk.
The story is about Tender Branson and his life after surviving a religious death cult. This is hard one to sum up, but his life is far from normal and seems to have a knack for getting into situations. Interesting read.

Just finished reading book 1 of The Farseer Trilogy.
I have to say, I didn't think much of it at the start, but this story sunk its hooks into me by the end.
Can't wait to start book 2.
If you're looking for a new adventure to get away from things, give this book a shot.

Found my first Gas Giant Planet in NMS. Such a work of art. #gaming
Hungry Hungry Hippos. Best game ever. Hasbro Crossfire as well is up there
Man I forgot about Blast Corps. I played that game late into the night along with WaveRace and 007
Some that come to mind are
-The Will of the Many
-Raising the Stones
-Dune
-This is how you lose the time war
Nice. I'm slowly growing my library as well. Missing a few of these so I'll make sure to add them to my list. I tend to fall into sci-fi/fantasy alot and forget to branch out.
At first you will struggle to find enjoyment in it as you try to build a routine but if you hold strong and battle through the first month you will start to find the enjoyment in it. Sent a goal for a race sometime in the fall to help you stay motivated. Most of all just have fun with it. ๐โโ๏ธโโก๏ธ๐โโ๏ธโโก๏ธ๐โโก๏ธ
I loved this book back when I first read it. Another close favorite is The Giver.
