Very impressive performance by Gaffuri there from the break.
Maybe he can get Picnic that elusive win later this week with these legs

Often a bit of a gamble with these super fast Italian Junior sprinters but Fedrizzi also showing pedigree elsewhere and him being tied down by one of the "smaller" WT teams, this seems like a nice next step
Very good race by MAT ATOM's Sofia Ungerova today. Making front splits and finishing 15th in the end. A very promising Junior, always a bit overshadowed by Chladonová. Surely a WWT rider sooner or later.
Same for Brit Noemie Thomson. Still very raw, but showing promise once again.

Firstcycling Screenshot of the Top 10 on GC at Junioren Etappenfahrt Cottbus 2026 with Onno Bieberle winning the overall. 2nd for Dexter Townsend and 3rd for Stijn Sloot.
Away from Roubaix we had one of the two German Junior UCI stage races last weekend, the traditional Cottbuser Junioren Etappenfahrt.
The win stayed in Cottbus with Onno Bieberle taking the GC thanks to his TT & some bonus seconds. Great result that hopefully puts his name out there!

Thijs Wiersma wins Paris-Roubaix U19 in front of Karl Herzog in a very close sprint!
Big win for Wiersma and another great result for Herzog. Great teamwork by the Dutch and a great final by Herzog to make it back up to the front.
Firstcycling screenshot of the Top 10 of todays 2nd stage of the Cottbus Junior stage race won by Onno Bieberle if front of Stijn Sloot & Dexter Townsend.
Onno Bieberle won the time trial at Cottbuser Junioren Etappenfahrt this morning taking the overall lead.
It's a great result for him which should give him some confidence even if the level here isn't the highest.
Also means both Onno and Edda have now won a UCI race in 2026!

Down Under was a bit too early but Catalunya and now his ride on the last Pays de la Loire stage been incredibly strong.
Will be a very exciting rider to follow over the next few years!
Watching that Itzulia final with Seixas attacking the desecent reminded me of the first time I heard riders talk about what a crazy descender Seixas is.
Fun interview with Jarno Widar & Milan Donie from Classique des Alpes 2023.

Good to see Alexander Kamps yearly Amstel Gold Race peak continues to be a thing in 2026 as well
Interesting interview with Emil Herzog about his role at RBH, chances of his own and a possible change of teams to experience something new.

Picture of Pavlo Otmorskyi (Cannibal B Victorius) winning Rund um Schönaich, the first Junior Bundesliga race of the year with a sprint out of a small lead group.
Pavlo Otmorskyi (Cannibal B Victorius) won yesterdays Rund um Schönaich, the season opener for the Junior Bundesliga.
He beat Onno Bieberle (LV Brandenburg) & Nils Borrmann (SC Berlin) into 2nd & 3rd after winning the sprint of a small lead group that stayed away to the finish.

Behrens is in his first season on Conti level after coming to the sport relatively late and impressing at national level the past two years.
He could've joined Lotto last year already but decided to stay amateur one more year. Also an avid crosser in the winter months like many riders from Hamburg.
Top 10 result sheet from yesterdays Mur de Huy Classic where Eike Behrens (Lotto-Kern Haus Outlet Montabaur) took his first UCI win atop the Mur de Huy. 2nd for Kamiel Eeman and 3rd for Niels Driesen.
First UCI win yesterday for Eike Behrens (Lotto Kern-Haus Outlet Montabaur) at the new Mur de Huy Classic.
Behrens went with a long effort up the Mur de Huy and probably surprised a few of the more established names behind him. First time he was able to show his potential on the int. stage!
This set's Koech up for a good run at the Bundesliga GC with a strong team behind him and his versatility.
Question is if he might prioritize UCI racing for results to try and get that pro contract.
Rembe have Borresch up in the GC which is good but still clearly lost out to Lotto this time.
Podium of the first Men's Bundesliga race of the season at the Sachsenring. 1. Silas Koech (Lotto Kern-Haus Outlet Montabaur) 2. Louis Grupp (Lotto Kern-Haus Outlet Montabaur) 3. Luke Meyer-Eland (MaxSolar Raymon)
Silas Koech continues his great start to the season and wins the Bundesliga opener at the Sachsenring solo!
Grupp showing his speed out of small groups and a great result for Brit Meyer-Eland.
🥇Silas Koech
🥈Louis Grupp
🥉Luke Meyer-Eland

Barry showing his class on the VAM-Berg today. Very attritional stage there as per usual.
Great showing by Silas Koech who only had to let go the first group in the last few k's and is now up to 7th on GC.
Not sure why RBH are sending guys up the road instead of getting the peloton to cooperate instead..
Another Top 10 in a Belgian Junior Classic for Lenny Karstedt.
The bunch sprint was very chaotic and against some very fast guys like Fedrizzi and Schnyder that is as good a result one could've hoped for.
Great team performance by Lotto-Kern Haus putting 3 riders in what is now effectively a race of 29 riders making the two front splits. Huppertz his usual reliable self + Morang & Koech strong.
Ed Uptegrove is a name to remember after his start to the season. He should have interest by bigger teams.
Very good 6th place for Paul Fietzke at Youngster Coast Challenge, the first big U23 race of the year.
Was out all day in the break that always was within 1-minute of the peloton but held on and fought for the win.
Nice to see Pavel Sumpik on the podium and progressing after a hard first U23 year.
Sign of the times when big, well organized and supported Junior teams have budgets of 500.000€, which is well more than some of the German Conti teams.
Team did a good job supporting Mauss last year, hopefully Karstedt, Esch, Bell can follow this year!

No idea. Following this approach would make sense though as the RBW team always produces good riders & has one of the best structures in Germany.
Off the top of my head though I think only Uno-x and Picnic are officialy partnering with a Women Jr teams. So would be a good initiative imo
Suffice to say that they don't completely rely on regional talents from the southwest as Josh Tietjen, a very good rider in the youth categories, has switched clubs from his native Bremen to Bolanden.
So would assume they will go after Junior talents from all over Germany if possible/worthwhile.
Lidl-Trek announcing their Junior set-up which will provide 10/13 roster spots for German/regional talents.
Fits in with the whole team setting up their operations in southwest Germany.
Different pathway to what RBH & Grenke did in internationalizing their roster and cutting their regional roots.
Top results from the Trofeo Binda Juniors. 1. Matilde Rossignoli 2. Edda Bieberle 3. Maria Okrucinska
Great Junior debut for Edda Bieberle today at Trofeo Binda Junior.
She has been a dominating force in the German Youth ranks and now managed to bring that onto an even bigger stage.
Big talent to watch over the next few years!
Gute Frage. Ich finds musikalisch einfach nicht so spannend wie frühere Sachen. Es plätschert so ein bisschen vor sich hin ohne große Highlights imo
Visma pushing the pace and dropping Zingle, their sprint option, was some interesting tactics for sure. Some proper screaming at the radio by him though
Proper breakthrough race for Alessandro Pinarello this. Sitting 7th on GC and looking real strong everytime the road goes up
Screenshot of Stage Top 10 of 1st stage of Istrian Spring Tour 2026 with Bruno Kessler winning ahead of Jesper Stiansen and Moritz Mauss.
Bruno Kessler with his first win of the season and for his new Tudor Dev team at Istria against a very talented peloton.
Very good to see him building on last year. He should be in for a pro-contract in 2027.
Moritz Mauss confirming his strong start to the season with the WT team.

Macht leider wieder überhaupt nichts mit mir. Bin irgendwie seit Assume Form raus bei ihm
