It’s essential to prevent components loosening leading to premature wear. Here a thru shaft bolt was loose. It may not of been a determining factor to why the bearings were worn, but it wouldn’t have helped!

A quiet start to the year and the first ride outside since NYE!

This is the ‘Project’ bike - GT Aggressor 3.
The plan is to turn it into a cruiser bike. It’s currently stripped down aside from the non-drive side crank which is properly stuck. So, it’s putting up a fight. Once that cranks off I can crack on! 👀

Strapped some new rubber to the big girl and went for a ride on a local trail I’ve not ridden for a while.
I had no idea a #tamevalleyloop had finally been created for bikes. I’ll certainly aim to add it on to this ride next time.
