I found a setting to turn off AI comment summaries (audience and visibility > posts). I don't seem to have the feature you're talking about yet (thankfully) but maybe it has a setting in the same place?
there's a way to turn off AI comment summaries (audience and visibility > posts), but apparently not everyone has that feature to worry about yet.
there’s a comic book?!
I'm sure this has got to be a good omen in the folklore of someplace or other😅
this guy is really not so bad - what's depressing is that even if someone is not bad, the youtube algorithm demands they use clickbait titles/thumbnails that make them seem as bad as everyone else.
the piece of bread on top 💖
I get that. pandania is really good though, so not surprised it met your standards 💖
important clarification!
hey hold on there, how can you say this, translator of Cthulhu Cat by Pandania?!
if these kids are real though, no way they are good enough interviewers for that to matter, it's probably either a requirement of the assignment or they think it's easier (and they are wrong about that, actually - it's better but not the easy way)
sometimes the best parts of the interview are the followup questions one asks, not the questions one thought to prepare in advance.
well I can't vouch for these requests but I will say that when I did journalism for a living, the worst thing was when a source wanted to answer questions by email instead of doing a phone call. so please don't be suspicious if actual professionals ever insist on this.
nevertheless, if they can't be bothered to write their own email, why should you bother to take the time to be interviewed.
yeah this
I see academics talking about getting interview requests like this a lot and I got one or two for a book I wrote a long time ago. it seems to be a kind of assignment that teachers actually give so I think the requests may be legit but the students using AI to write their emails is new🙁
shocking indeed! no wonder this country is in the shape it’s in 😂
Yeah that's a hell no from me
Only 6 percent triceratops?? What is this country coming to?
really so many people these days can't seem to develop baseline human decency so I'd say you're doing pretty well
but honestly what's weird here is the assumption that it's normal to want your whole face to be on the internet, with all the possible complications of that, and that if you don't, something is wrong with you that needs and explanation.
wow why would girls cover their face when no matter how they look, even if you can't SEE how they look, someone will comment negatively about how they look. like literally how can anyone imagine why they would do that🙄
it's our own fault somehow🤷♀️
that reminds me of a craftsperson I interviewed who left me with the impression that for some Japanese who move to the US and make it their job to represent a part of the culture to the West, they decide it has to have strict rules that only an expert can know, or else they don't have a job, right?
Of course! I trust him 100%💖
but do I agree that people should persist in beating their head till it is clear there is really no path forward.
I made my living as a writer for many years and I learned that sometimes people just don't want to give you their money for the thing you would prefer to write. Sometimes it's wiser to stop beating your head against certain walls.
It doesn't matter that it's "out there" if no one reads it, and I found I don't have the skills to be a marketing department, which takes a lot more than zero effort. I do have actual published books to my name so I am not that desperate to have just anything out there with my name on it.
been there done that, decided it was not worth it.
I've written a couple of books that took many years to not get published, even with a big deal agent at the helm for one of them. Sometimes the current market does not want a thing. Persistence is absolutely necessary but not sufficient.
