Relive Scotland’s glorious win over Denmark last night in stunning Ultra High Definition…

A can of Irn-Bru, a Döner box, and a receipt, all on a table in GDK - German Döner Kitchen
I love that the most consistently available Irn-Bru in London comes with a kebab.
What the actual fuck?!
“Well, there’s something wrong with them, better test them for the tism!”
The damage that these genital obsessed bullies inflict on *everyone* is off the charts.
A difficult video to make; but a great opportunity for brands to properly align themselves with the neurodivergent community.

If your brand wants to better serve neurodivergent people, you have to include us in the research and development of your products and services. Seems simple, right?
#WorldAutismAcceptance #ActuallyAutistic
I don’t see autism as a positive per se, but also not a negative, it’s just part of who I am.
I don’t see being a white, male, heterosexual as either positive or negative either, also just part of who I am.
Neurodivergent people are probably among the most resilient people you’ll ever encounter.
#WorldAutismAcceptance #ActuallyAutistic
I always say I am autistic, because I don’t know where autism ends and Andrew starts, it is as much a part of me as my thumbs are.
With that said, if someone else wants to say of themselves that they have autism, or that they’re with autism, I support them.
It is for US to choose though.
How we label neurodivergence is not uniform, nor does it need to be.
As neurodivergent people, how we choose to label ourselves, or not, is entirely our choice.
#WorldAutismAcceptance #ActuallyAutistic
Neurodivergent people are different; not only different to neurotypical people, but also to each other.

Give us options to interact with your brand.
Giving neurodivergent people control over how they interact with you will improve the outcomes for them, and you.

Masking is exhausting and stressful, and it means that neurodivergent people are hiding the very traits for which they are valued.
#WorldAutismAcceptance #ActuallyAutistic
Is it important to include neurotypical people in the design and creation of environments which are nurturing and supportive for neurodivergent people?

Not the video I planned to do, but the video I had to do; just one of those days.

Some thoughts for brands on how to nourish neurodivergent employees, for everyone’s benefit.
#WorldAutismAcceptance #ActuallyAutistic
Communication between neurotypical people and neurodivergent people can be challenging, for both groups. With willingness, and a little effort, it can be improved significantly though.

Sensory sensitivities.
If you’re neurodivergent, particularly autistic, your senses may be heightened.
Maybe reducing sensory bombardment is good for everyone though?

“Autism Awareness Day”
Today we talk about moving beyond awareness, to acceptance, and recognise there are bigger end goals than merely acceptance.

Agreed! It’s the old story of quality over quantity; the “social” part of “social media” is so often forgotten!
I’m hopeful that BlueSky can be what Twitter once was :)
The irony is strong!
I completely forgot it was April 1st and got really excited about Concorde flying again!
Right?!
Evolution is sometimes inevitable, but consistency is helpful - probably not only for us neurodivergent people, but also neurotypical people!
[btw, I love “I follow *interesting*”]
For the longest time I have struggled to tell people what I actually do.
So, from now I’m a “neurodivergent brand consultant”.
1 in 7 people are neurodivergent – but most brands don’t even consider us.

The biggest disappointment, for me, was Twitter - its slide probably started when the chronological timeline was abandoned. People started following more accounts than was feasible to keep up with and an attention economy ensued.
Ah well, at least I met you, Sam :)
Not a big one for sharing petitions, but this one flaps my wings.

He’s on his way!!
There was a time where I’d post this on Facebook; but @jena.ng isn’t there anymore.
Happy Birthday to the most amazing partner, friend, and tireless ally.
A firm favourite of @jena.ng’s too :)
