Better that than one overconfident person that is consistently wrong ๐Ÿคก

The arguing with yourself is always the best part ๐Ÿ˜‚

Seems like you could take the ground plane dimensions from the aabb and decide on a static height yourself. In some cases a model might stick out the top of the frustum, but as long as all robot activities in in a single plane, a static value could be good enough ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If you really wanted to animate something 3d you could make an old dented version of the robot with a beard and animate that, as the experienced robot who is training the new ones so they know what to do ๐Ÿ˜Š but as you said, 2d has its own strengths and that would work really well too I think.

I was thinking of some sentient computer screen with attached keyboard or something like that anthropomorphized rather than a bio character. Seems like it would fit the vibe ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ“บ or clippy. Clippy is fine. I am sure nobody will mind that ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, leaning the edge color towards the neighboring color definitely makes it less intrusive while still letting the object stand out visually.
What I also notice often is that the "object group" outline is made thicker than that of individual objects. Maybe signaling scene depth differences ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If you want something that moves, maybe a little bat fluttering around could do the trick ๐Ÿง›๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‡

I gathered the color gradient from a photo I took of a foggy autumn sunrise. I really like how the muted color tones contrast the dynamism of the shapes. I made a tool to render the gradient, value field, colored value field, and colored pattern to preview new variations.

The pattern consists of a background with large shapes and a foreground with many smaller shapes. The larger shapes are relatively simple with high regularity, whereas the smaller shapes have more edges, sharper angles, and are more elongated.

This is 10_1_35_131_249_1_1 from a series of works that I made ๐ŸŽจ at @galeriedervilla from late 2024 to mid 2025. My goal for these works was to expand my practice around using the tools I have been programming. #geometricart

It feels so rewarding to look back and see my practice developing. I focus so much on the future that I don't notice all the changes I have gone through.

One of my works in the group exhibition was a composition of 7 40x40 cm prints. It was super interesting to experiment with splitting a pattern up in shapes, thereby adding another dimension of geometry to the work. I love ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› how the colors came out.

I just realised I never posted about an exhibition I was in with Galerie der Villa at HyperCulturalPassengers in Veddel, Hamburg earlier this year from February 20th to March 2nd. I have really not been keeping my socials up to date lately ๐Ÿ˜‚ Is this what freedom tastes like? ๐Ÿ˜‹ #geometricart

The mushroom ๐Ÿ„ that provided the colors for this work was such a great find. I love how bright the red and orange colors โค๏ธ๐Ÿงก burn in the yellow light from the low sun. I can't get over the diversity of plants, mushrooms, and bugs ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ„โ€๐Ÿชฒ I keep on finding around me since I started looking for them.

This is 9_14_1_126_201_1_8 from a series I created during autumn 2024. For these works I combined a pattern of flowing shapes, with color gradients developed from photos of trees, leaves, and insects. #geometricart #abstractart #concreteart

Time to code a generator I guess ๐Ÿ™ˆ

You have been working so hard on this. It is really great that it is coming together in the way you envisioned! ๐Ÿฅณ

Can the producer/consumers be colored like what crates they make?

7 months ago 2 0 1 0

I imagine a counter on each consumer and a connection to a producer that light up when the required amount has been consumed. Producer requiring all incoming connections to light up before creating output ๐ŸŸฅ๐ŸŸง๐ŸŸจ๐ŸŸฉ๐ŸŸฆ๐ŸŸช

Tooling time ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ๐Ÿฅฝ maybe something that brings the parts together in a single view, automates the handling it the resource files, and allows you to copy/paste stuff around as needed when inserting new or modifying existing content?

I like the almost 3d quality of the layered colors. Find it visually really interesting ๐Ÿคฉโœจ very cool

Something about the almost-symmetry really caught my eye. And when I began looking closer and zooming I had a moment of wondering if it was pen plotter art before coming back around ๐Ÿ˜‚ what a rollercoaster. Great work! ๐Ÿฅณ
