I hope everyone is having a wonderful festive season. It's been the worst year of my life but I know I have good friends to get me to the end of it and into 2024. it still warms my heart to see others enjoying their friends and family. Treasure every moment, go make your memories, live!

The other option would have been juat more veg! Anyways I found some frozen roast potatoes so dinner occurred. No rice was harmed during the making of the meal.

I'm gonna need you to hand in your papers and leave. If you are craving a roast lunch, rice is NOT an option.

Was planning a Sunday Roast until I realised I forgot to get potatoes in. Someone not British suggested I substitue them with rice and they had a hard time grasping why I was mortified by the suggestion.

Brains know EXACTLY what they are doing. I feel all of these inappropriately timed thoughts are pure revenge for all the times you held your breath as a kid to see how long you could last before passing out sending your brain into a state of panic.

I was pessimistic, but the time and money it has saved me cooking for one over heating up a wholeass oven for a single piece of food is amazing. The liners they sell for them also greatly reduce the time spent cleaning afterwards. Winwin!

Habitual

This weekend has been a emotional rollercoaster of nostalgia, loss, longing, laughter and regret. Sorting through belongings, battling between sentiment and logic. Tough weekend.
