It’s 3am and I can’t sleep because my mind’s running a mile a minute thinking of the kind of game I want to make for this.

Mr. X is a great example, especially in the remake. There’s no cutscene, no jump scare even, just a big emotionless dude appears in a hallway and decides he’s gonna beat your ass.

Also, the writing hits really poorly in this day and age when Leon rattles off sassy Hollywood style one-liners after blowing the heads off zombies (that were normal people just moments before), and then later becomes somber and says a small prayer for cops.

Didn't love RE9.
It's a great game tied to a mediocre game.
Starts strong but turns into a real slog at the mid-way point.
Grace's segments are haunting, carefully paced and beautifully detailed; while Leon's are all clunky, bland and feel like they were designed in 2010.

On this 10th anniversary of Stardew Valley's release, I just have to note that, not only is the game itself a treat, but so is Concerned Ape himself.

After working with him all this time, I'm grateful for the constant reminder that good people make good things.

Pleasantly surprised myself tonight when looking over controls written in Japanese and for the first time in my life, was able to clearly read and understand it.

It reads as “Oyasumi” which translates to “Goodnight”.

Plan is to learn as much of the language as we can while testing what it’s like to live abroad. We fly out next weekend. I’m a swirling mixture of excitement & anxiousness.

Good News: Turnaround time was about 2 weeks!

Steam Workshop::Fangamer Tucson Office

With the release of the public multiplayer beta for Teardown, I finally decided to take the leap into learning to mod for the game. My first map is the @fangamer.com main office in Tucson!

It's still a WIP, but I'm having a blast so expect frequent updates.
