we didn't have the large carrier with us, so he rode freely in the back of the car
in hindsight we should have pointed him away from my headrest

today i was stabbed repeatedly in the back of the head by a disgruntled pelican
until last month when i actually looked into getting the most out of the new pc, we've been transferring files to each other over wifi at like 7mb/sec like its 2006
it goes up to ~30 now
100 from just 1g will be great
300 from 2.5g will be incredible :o
AND it'll be more efficient and faster because it turns out the router i bought last year was reasonably priced because it only has 1g ports
but the new pc has 2.5g ports
but a switch will let the computers talk directly at 2.5g speeds and ignore the bottleneck at the router
apparently i dont have to move the router at all, and can plug one of its LAN ports into the wall port, then run just ONE ethernet cable to a switch near the computers, and plug them into that
ohh ive been down a google rabbit hole
i just learned about network switches
Somewhere Bismarck is looking down in confusion as Germany projects power by sending 4,000 pensioners, 12 buffet stations and a TUI loyalty program through the Strait of Hormuz
Apparently it is possible to get a good picture of the moon with your phone
i wasted money and brain cells trying to make the best out of our wifi coming from the garage when it didnt even have to be in there?!
and we can use ethernet cables from the new location! we couldve had a wired network all these years!
AAAHH
we have been living in this house for nine years and i only just thought to see what happens when i plug the nbn box into the ethernet port in the wall under it instead of into the router
it sends it to an ethernet port on the other side of the house!
the lorikeet just shat on poor noodle, seen here in happier times
splattered ALL over him. absolutely ruined his day
i really wanted to like ss86 astrotrain but after finally watching a video, preorder cancelled
he'll be a reluctant grumble discount purchase at best
the day finally came to pay it back to google. a pixel 9a for $579 is pretty great though given its less than my 6a payout and basically identical to the 10a and comes in pink
sometimes i just really want to apply a bunch of little stickers to a toy
i swear its on my hierarchy of needs
A VCR never sold my private info to a nazi
we were out looking for a brushtail and a man who looked like Senor Spielbergo parked and got out of his car.. to ask directions
what an incredible experience in 2026
maps apps are great but they have robbed us of simple little social interactions
i hope you found your way, king
the point of this is every single clavicular manosphere man of today would wither up and die if he simply entered the room
his part of the job was chiseling the old tiles from the wall that mustve been attached with some kind of now-banned adhesive because they were only chipping off in tiny jagged fragments
he was hot, sweaty, wearing a singlet and covered in blood because he did not wear any kind of safety gear
the first time i noticed a masculine manly man of the kind that are familiar from action movies, i was about 7 or 8 years old. he was a contractor working on our kitchen renovation. he looked a bit like duke nukem, if duke nukem was an australian bogan who did a bit too much meth
today i waded underboob deep in nasty ass swamp water to rescue an aptly named swamp hen
this called for an immediate dettol bath afterwards
slept badly and want to nap but the neighbours are having work done and there's a tradie all set up with a circular saw literally 5 metres from my bed
something something quark telling nog the humons are like Klingons without our federation comforts
in a fun turn of events in the middle of the oil apocalypse, one of australia's two remaining oil refineries just caught fire. it only supplies 10% of the national total but happens to be only 40 minutes from here and supplies 50% of the petrol to this state
so fuck us in particular
So here they are! These are 2 separate posters that will be coming with me on the con circuit this year. A matrix/Unicron mirror set of images showing awe and evil (together at last!). #TFTM #Transformers #optimus #megatron #rodimus #galvatron #soundwave #cylonus #springer #grimlock #ultramagnus
but the X2D! an auxiliary nozzle for support material feels like it was MADE for me because that's most of my multi material usage and it takes so much time and purge so between that and the corexy system, its actually a worthwhile upgrade, and wickedly priced!
but the P2S didn't feel like enough for the price. it'd just be a minor upgrade from bed slinger to enclosed corexy, with the same multi material drawbacks i already have on the A1, and a VFA problem
so i was really hanging out for their next gen machine announcements buut it was the H series, which cost a fortune partly due being built to accommodate an optional laser cutter module that i have zero interest in
and i dont need to print that large
then came the P2S which was interesting
the bambu lab X2D looks like the printer ive been waiting for wow
i chose an A1 over the original P1 and X1 series mostly because of the price, but also the toolfree nozzle swap and improved flow calibration
but it was still a bed slinger and the AMS lite isn't ideal
