The 1916 proclamation of the Irish Republic
The leaders of the Easter Rising were executed by the British from 3rd to the 12th of May 1916.
Irish Protest Flyer saying: "Remember what the hand of England in the affairs of Ireland has always meant. Homes burnt, Famine, Economic conscription, Hanging of priests and patriots, emigration, English wars. Vote for the man who doesn't want Ireland to continue under such rulers."

Today, 109 years ago, was the first day of the Irish Easter Rising, which paved the way for Irish independence.
