Ancient oak tree, drawn in pen and ink
New work! May Day, an ancient oak tree. Drawn in pen and ink, coloured in Procreate #SciArt #treeart #treeartist #oaktree #ancientoak #illustration #penandink #inkdrawing #handdrawn
An ink and watercolor drawing of a traditional Southeast Asian structure where four feminine figures - each dressed in ritual garb and holding a fan or incense burner - walk across the archway in side profile. On either side of the building are two palm trees. Forests and mountains can be seen in the distance. On top of the building are two frog statues facing each other.

I was really excited to see a wood pigeon pair building a nest in the hedge in my garden but they've been overshadowed by the magpie couple creating some sort of stick cathedral in the tree outside my window

Drawing of a bird made with colored pencils
A bird from sketchbook.
Magenta and purple illustration of eerie blackberry vines winding around, framing, at their center, a pulsing heart made entirely of blackberries, its juices dripping from the bottom.
A juicy blackberry boy for the cover of "OUR DARK UNRAVELING." Many thanks to AD Jen! This job felt made for me -- growing up we had an acre of blackberry bushes by our house. All summer we were covered with berry stains & scratches and my dad was forever waging a war of attrition with the vines.

When I find a photo with weird lighting in my camera roll I am cursed with the compulsion to make a study of it. Fur is kind of fun to paint tho.

A digital illustration of a figure with long, black, braided hair standing on a cliff edge overlooking a valley forest. A set of tracks winds its way through the trees, and in the distance is a large white structure with a pale ribbon encircling it, reaching toward the sky.

A digital monochrome drawing of a light-skinned human figure wearing large, loose clothing, similar to a monk or mountain ascetic. Their expression is blank, and they're shaved bald with large ears wearing two black teardrop earrings. They have a tattoo across their left forearm of three thick black bands, and their hand is raised to grip the edge of their large, wide-brimmed hat. They also have another straw hat tied to their back and underneath their cloak a crossover bag. In their right hand they hold prayer beads and a large, thin staff. The text reads: "name: ren they/them seeking: enlightenment leaving: violence well-prepared, former doctor loved and lost: their master shadow: theirs vitality/fire: 2 quickness/air: 4 fortitude/earth: 5"
