I like to imagine that this is Kel meeting Sunny for the first time after he moved out. They've had several talks during that period of time and that helped Kel (and the others) eventually forgive both Sunny and Basil. Sunny decided to make a surprise visit, which Kel wasn't expecting, and he just so happened to arrive when Kel was having practice. Which caused Kel to immediately lock onto Sunny and the basketball rolled away somewhere into the bushes, but who cares!! Sunny's here!!
