If his cabinet secretary said “nuke” Country X all process has been followed. Would he then say ‘ok let’s do it’. One would presume so

Starmer is just not credible. Fact is he was determined to appoint Mandelson and that was an appalling decision. Forget process, forget dancing on a pin head.

Wouldn’t someone with half a brain ask “what is the process” rather than say the process was followed?

This doesn’t pass the smell test. If a minister did know then they they’re lying. If they didn’t then Robbins should be fired with no compensation or package

Starmer demonstrating how totally inconsequential he is by going to the middle east while Britains one and only ship in the region is being repaired.

Do you think he is more concerned about his base or maximising his wealth and that of his family and cronies for the remainder of his term?

So therefore negligible effect on climate change. But, what about the impact on government revenues? Would it pay for extra hospitals, doctors, teachers, infrastructure etc?

This betrayal is why I’ve never voted for Lib Dem’s since. Additionally their performance in government was a disgrace. People voted for them because they were thought to be principled, only to find they got drunk on power and caved to the Tories at every turn

If energy price cap increased to £4,000 the price of everything else would lead to catastrophic collapse of the economy

Even an increase of £600 p.a. is less than a cost of one latte per day

We don’t generate enough tax revenue to pay for day to day government spending as it is. Debt interest would increase which means even less for public services. I’m sure those earning in the higher tax brackets could forgoe some luxury’s to pay for their own energy consumption.

Here’s a thought, why doesn’t he just tell Starmer “No I’m not going and it’s about time you grew a backbone Keir and stood up to that lunatic Trump”

This is Starmer once again sucking up to Trump. I suspect the last thing the King wants is to be in the company of Trump. The King is subtly using his good friend Dimbleby to let us know his true feelings.

No he just announced that NATO is totally reliant on the USA, and as such they can do whatever they want.

The problem remains, how much daylight is daylight. The very nature of offside means that at the margins the decision will always be based on millimetres. This change will however give a huge advantage to the attacker. Not such a bad thing

Firstly Trumps base are undoubtedly insane. However what’s worse is the world leaders Starmer foremost amongst them that sucks up to Trump and doesn’t call the US Administration out as a bunch of lunatics.

I think Reform have peaked in the polls and the only way is down. With increased public scrutiny, they are exposed as either clowns or charlatans. Zia on politics live recently was exposed as a complete buffoon.

World leaders better grow a backbone and call out the madmen in the White House

How long will it take for world leaders to publicly admit there is a lunatic in the White House? They better do it soon before the world is plunged into an economic catastrophe.
