You nailed it Lori. Hutson played well and will adjust to the targeting. I didn’t like the boarding call on Anderson or the high sticking on Guhle. Otherwise it was normal inconsistant officiating.

Three players all moving at high speed. Not a penalty in my view. Just a huge collision. Similar plays not called. Refs panicked.

Personally I think the rebuild was over once the decision to change was made. I’m hoping we are now in a permanent build and renew phase.

All the add ons are nuisance factors but they aggravate and multiply the real life situations endlessly. Hang in there!!

I always predict a Habs win so in my world they would win in four games. BUT. I try to hold my expectations in check and look for the positives in each game. I just want to see them play and win as many games as possible.

Habs have the speed, skill and flexibility at forward to match Tampa and potentially solid goaltending. Defence has potential warts but also potential for growth. If everybody plays the right way we’ll be laughing. There is also the possibility that Marty’s flexibility will be tested.

I still choose to believe that if Habs play the right way anything is possible. I’m looking for the team to play well. All predictions are just noise.

And good news that Leafs missed out on Sunny Mehta.
