I can't stand apple TV mlb coverage. It's punishing.
The Kennedy Center has been in continuous operation for 55 years.
Trump and Ric Grenell destroyed it in one year by making it so toxic that nobody will perform there.
Now they have to shut it down like a Trump casino.
Hard pass on the Melania documentary, but I have watched Corey Feldman Vs the World twice in 24 hours.
How is anyone supposed to have dry January with all this awfulness going on?
All in all a pretty good run. Freddy's Dead was truly the only absolute clunker.
This year's Octoberween horror movie marathon from GREAT to not so great:
Sleepy Hollow (1999)

Die Die my Darling! (1965)
Hollywood 90028 (1973)
Primal Rage (1988)
Pigs (1973)
Freddy's Dead (1991)
Why does the Speaker never know what's going on? Isn't that his job?
The horror of realizing the cottage cheese you brought home has pineapple chunks in it.
I just tried to order an LP from Europe and the shipping was $45. The tariffs seem to be working great.
I hate to be THAT GUY, but the quote is "Goonies never SAY die" not "Goonies never die."
Thank God. This utterly depressing Orioles season is finally over.
Also I love Cocktail.
Cocktail is an incredible movie. A neon tribute to alcoholism and empty capitalism. How does this even exist?
Does skip during "Caroline" tho. ๐ข
I am happy to report that the recent MOFI Tango in the Night vinyl DOES NOT SKIP during "Big Love" -- unlike every other pressing of this record I have purchased over the years.
If you want to know how much Mike Love SUCKS, and you want to go beyond the obvious, just listen to how he RUINS the flow of a perfectly good Beach Boys album like Surf's Up with his AWFUL song "Student Demonstration Time." It sucks so hard it actually startles me every time I put this record on.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed getting this new Ivy pre-order vinyl BEFORE the album's digital release. Score 1 for the analog oldies.
I am a purist, and by that I mean Scooby-Doo should not involve "actual" monsters (Dracula, zombies, werewolves etc). The whole point is that the ghosts aren't real.
I *think* I watched Ghostbusters Frozen Empire but I honestly couldn't tell you if I just watched the trailer or the whole thing.
Paperback books are like velveteen rabbits โ ours to be loved and squeezed and read and stuffed into shoulder bags and left in the sun and read and read again until there's nothing left but memories from something real

If this involves Slurpees, I'm there.
Last night I watched Hitchcock's Marnie for the very first time and I am here to report that it is bonkers and amazing and will be watching again at next possible convenience.
Roddy McDowall, Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971).
Normally I'm against defacing library books but this is kind of amazing.
