VATICAN: Pope’s condition remains critical, but there has been no further respiratory crises. Blood tests showed an initial, mild, renal insufficiency, but it is under control. He is receiving oxygen through nasal cannulas. This morning he participated in Mass with hospital staff.

Be like Pope Francis: Allow others to care for you and pray for you. Let yourself receive the Sacraments of the Church when you are sick. Do not hide from being vulnerable to God's grace.

As of now I do not see Pope Francis giving up this fight and resigning. He has said: “The Lord of the Harvest still wants me here.” Barring any further major medical crisis, Francis sees his pontificate as a mission from God, and it will be up to God, not Francis to take it away.
I’m not a practicing Catholic (haven’t been since I was living in a Catholic Worker shelter as a kid), and Francis def said some things I disagree with here and there. But he’s also been pretty decent as far as the leader of global Catholicism goes. I do think current events might be killing him.
At this point I’m willing to say that the rise of Christian nationalism is killing the Pope.
regret to inform everyone this is a real guy who could be pope
To the juggalos I went to high school with, especially Josh who showed me their music on the bus and for being a friend
Like Christianity, ICP appeals to the downtrodden. One Harvard Divinity School alumnus stated that Juggalos are “a demographic ripe not just for populism but for a spiritual version of it, like that of Dorothy Day’s Catholic Workers.” They just took a different approach with “blessed are the poor.”
Christmas was a delightful time last year no words could and still can't explain how truly grateful I am for being about to be apart of a really amazing outcome of the day 🔥❤️💯🔥❤️

BREAKING: Pope Francis reported to be in a ‘critical condition’ after some teens made fun of him for being a virgin
It’s really gone to his head, hasn’t it?
As Trump's comments about taking over the Gaza Strip show, the words change but empire's logic of domination does not. But if we are to follow Jesus, our lives must bear witness to a different kingdom.
Whether Trumpism will implode or liberal democracy will implode, the moral responsibilities of a Catholic acting in the political realm are the same, says Michael Sean Winters. www.ncronline.org/opinion/ncr-...
Pope Francis continues to improve and the 88-year old pontiff remains without fever and with a well-functioning heart, as he carries on his hospital recovery from double pneumonia.
The Associated Press' influential stylebook has become a flash point in the culture wars of President Donald Trump's dystopian America, in a dispute arising from a gimmicky cartographic executive order.
Pope Francis suffered a respiratory crisis that required he be placed on oxygen, the Vatican said on Saturday, as the pontiff remains in critical condition at Rome's Gemelli Hospital.
Pope Francis had a peaceful night in the hospital as he was being treated with oxygen, the Vatican said Sunday, following a respiratory scare a day earlier that prompted Catholics worldwide to pray for the pontiff.
God grant me the saranity to accept the things I can not change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the diffrance
