We’ve talked about this a lot and mostly @au-trout.bsky.social that Nico’s teams are not good attacking sides and limit offensive creativity. After he was fired by Dallas in 2024 their team and attach became markedly better

I’m not sure that firing Nico fixes anything but this team is disorganized and not playing hard. Those are things that changing the coach can affect and change.

This team is bad and boring. It’s possible to forgive being outclassed but not outworked.

Can’t fire the players so it’s time to fire the coach because it’s clear Nico can’t get results.

Based on previous experience losing to a USL team on the road in year 2 is not enough for a coach to be fired.

You’d think a coach wouldn’t survive as disastrous a start to a season as Nico Estevez has had with Austin FC, but …. this is Austin FC. And if there’s anything we do VERY well, it’s stick with coaches until the very end.

Or as much as you can like any currently healthy line up this team can put out
